Retreat Experience and Philosophy
Since 2017, Natja has been organizing and leading transformative yoga retreats in Bali. Her first retreat was in collaboration with Chris, who provided logistical expertise and deep local knowledge. After Chris’s retirement, Natja took the initiative to continue the retreats independently, leveraging her extensive background in the tourism industry—including experience in airlines, travel agencies, tour operations, and software for tour operators. This unique combination of skills allows her to seamlessly manage every aspect of the retreat experience, ensuring guests are comfortable, cared for, and able to focus fully on their yoga journey.
Natja is meticulous in selecting retreat venues, prioritizing locations that are tranquil and integrated with the local community. She personally inspects each venue to ensure high standards of hospitality, food, and service, and favors places that give back to the Balinese people. Her retreats are set away from the main tourist areas, offering peace, beautiful surroundings, and authentic cultural connections.
